Black Canyon Raceway kicks off with Opening Night April 3rd.
Emmett, ID — Black Canyon Raceway is set to kick off its 2026 racing season with an action-packed Opening Night on Thursday, April 3rd, welcoming drivers, teams, and fans back to the track.
Gates will open at 4:00 PM, with the Drivers Meeting scheduled for 5:30 PM. On-track activity begins at 6:00 PM with Mud Pack and Hot Laps for the Open 500 division, followed immediately by qualifying for all divisions.
All Outlaw Kart divisions will be in competition, including:
- Restricted Box Stock
- K1 Race Gear Box Stock
- Hammer Down Trucking 250
- Bell Helmet Open 500
- PBT Auto Caged Clone
Pit passes will be available at the gate for $15, with free admission for children ages 4 and under.
All participants 18 and under must complete a Minor Release form for the 2026 season prior to competition.
Food will be available for purchase from Everything on a Stick.
Coffee, Italian Soda and Energy drinks will be available from A&J Bean Machine.
Fans can expect a full night of short track racing as Black Canyon Raceway officially launches another exciting season.
